Our story

A different starting point for regional aviation.

For too long, regional air travel in Hungary and Central Europe has often meant distant hubs, long surface journeys or inconvenient connections.

Palko Air is being built from the opposite direction.We begin with the journey itself: where people need to go, how long it currently takes and whether a direct regional route can genuinely make life easier.

That means focusing on smaller airports, practical schedules and destinations with real business, family and leisure demand. It also means creating an airline experience that feels understandable and personal rather than unnecessarily complex.

Our first ambition is regional connectivity. Our longer-term ambition is broader: to help make Central Europe more connected, accessible and competitive.

Palko Air is a founder-led airline project. The idea grew from a practical business question: why should regions with real economic and travel demand remain difficult to reach simply because they sit outside Europe’s largest aviation hubs?

The project is being developed with a focus on commercial discipline, useful regional routes and partnerships with experienced aviation operators.

Rather than trying to copy the traditional airline model, Palko Air aims to combine professional airline operations with the speed, focus and customer attention of an entrepreneurial company.
