Cookie &
browser storage

This page explains the browser technologies used by the current Palko Air website and booking environment.

We believe these technologies should be described according to what the website actually uses — not buried behind a generic cookie notice.

Last updated · 19 September 2026

No advertising or analytics tracking is currently enabled.

In the current frontend, Palko Air does not intentionally use advertising pixels, behavioural advertising cookies or third-party analytics tracking. For that reason, there are currently no optional marketing or analytics preferences for you to enable or disable on this website.

01

Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information that a website can place in your browser and retrieve on later requests or visits.

The current Palko Air frontend does not intentionally deploy non-essential analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies.

This may change as production services are introduced. If optional cookie technologies are added, this page and the relevant consent controls will be updated before they are used.

02

Session storage

The current booking system uses browsersessionStorage to maintain continuity between different steps of a journey.

Session storage belongs to the current browser session and is different from technology designed to follow someone across unrelated websites for advertising purposes.

Its purpose here is functional: keeping the booking journey together while you move between search, passenger, seat, review, payment and confirmation screens.

03

What may be held in the browser session

Depending on which parts of the website you use, the current booking environment may temporarily maintain the following types of information in session storage.

Flight search

Selected airports, travel dates, journey type, passenger count and search context may be carried between booking steps.

Selected flights & fares

Selected outbound and return flights, fare information and the current booking journey may be stored for the active session.

Passenger & contact information

Information entered during the booking flow may temporarily remain available in the browser session so it can be used on later booking steps.

Seat selections

Selected seats and seat assignments can be retained between the seat-selection, review, payment and confirmation steps.

Booking management

A temporary Manage booking access token may be stored for the active browser session after successful authentication.

Booking confirmation

Confirmation and current payment-status information may temporarily be carried into the booking confirmation page.

04

Why this storage is used

A multi-step airline booking cannot practically restart from zero every time a passenger moves to the next screen.

Browser session storage helps retain the state of the active journey so that selections made on one page can be available on the next.

It is used for functionality rather than advertising profiling.

05

Clearing browser information

Browser session information can generally be removed by closing the relevant browser session or through the storage and privacy controls available in your browser.

Clearing information while a booking journey is in progress may mean that selections stored only in the browser have to be entered again.

Server-side booking records are separate from browser session storage and are not deleted merely by clearing browser data.

06

Future third-party services

Production airline services may later use external technology providers for functions such as payment processing, fraud prevention, customer support or service performance.

If any provider introduces cookies or comparable browser technologies, the relevant information and controls will be updated accordingly.

07

Privacy

Browser storage is only one part of how information can be processed through an airline booking system.

For information about booking, passenger and contact data, please read the Palko AirPrivacy Policy.

Cookie settings

Nothing optional to switch off — for now.

Because the current frontend does not intentionally load optional analytics or advertising technologies, there is currently no separate consent preference panel to display.

If optional tracking technologies are introduced later, controls will be made available before those technologies are activated where consent is required.
